Shipping, delivery and returns

Delivery Policy

For our delivery service, we use APC Nationwide Next Day Delivery.

Our standard delivery charge of £10 GBP covers a package up to 20kg with a surcharge of 50p per kg on top of this.  If your order equates to multiple boxes we may have to give a surcharge for delivery but we will always contact you beforehand to agree a price before sending. 

Orders over £250 GBP (excluding VAT) will be entitled to free delivery.

We can deliver to United Kingdom, but prices may vary depending on location and the weight of the goods ordered.  For deliveries outside of the UK Mainland please email for more details.  

Orders will be processed within 3 working days and dispatched for delivery the next working day.  However, during busy periods these time scales may vary.

We cannot guarantee an exact delivery time.

If no-one is available to receive the delivery, our courier will return the item(s) to their local depot and leave a delivery card. The recipient can then either call to arrange re-delivery or collect the order from the courier's local delivery depot.

Returns Policy

We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us.

We have created this 7-day returns policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances.

  1. Send an email to: sales@somethingspecialwholesale.co.uk within 24 hours of receiving the goods outlining the reason for the return.  We will respond by email and advise accordingly.
  2. If we accept the reasons for return we will require to receive the returned product within 7 days following the date of our email response.    
  3. The returned product must be unused, in its original unopened packaging with any seal or shrink-wrap intact, with any labels still attached, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new.
  4. Products returned under this policy must be sent by recorded delivery to:
    Returns Department, Something Special, Station Road, Betchworth, Surrey, RH3 7BZ
  5. You will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with returns under this policy.

Refunds

We will send you a refund for the full price of any product properly returned by you in accordance with the terms of this returns policy excluding the costs of returning the product to us.

We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days of the day we received your returned product.

We will not refund delivery charges.

Improper returns

Where you return a product in contravention of this policy and where you do not have any other legal right to return the product:

  • We will not refund or exchange the product;
  • We may retain the returned product until you pay to us such additional amount as we may charge for re-delivery of the returned product; and
  • If we do not receive payment of such additional amount within 14 days of issuing a request for payment, we may destroy or otherwise dispose of the returned product in our sole discretion without any liability to you.
